Hunting the Northern Lights, with an authentic Lappish Dinner Experience

“Join us for a truly special evening in Lapland. Driving north out of Rovaniemi’s city center, you’ll arrive at a snow-capped forest deep in the Arctic circle, far from city lights. You will be treated to a traditional Lappish dinner of either sautéed reindeer or pan-fried rainbow trout, cooked by a local award-winning chef. The dinner is served in a cozy Lappish wooden kota with a beautiful warm and candle lit ambience. After dessert you’ll venture out into the pristine forest with our knowledgeable guide, where you will hunt for the Northern Lights. If you are lucky, the Arctic will reveal its magic and the sky will dance with vibrant hues of green, pink and purple!”

Note: The Northern Lights are an unpredictable natural phenomenon. Our safaris are designed to give you the best chance to observe them, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that they will appear.”

This is activity is not recommended for young children as the arctic nights are even colder than the days. It will not be possible to finish the safari prematurely if your child/children start to feel cold.
